You don’t always have to be a yes-man, especially to things that don’t matter. Learn to disagree and say a blunt and outright “no”. Your “No” may turn people off, hurt some feelings, and ruffle some feathers, but the more you continue to say “no” to things that don’t matter, the more it will be easier for you to say “yes” and concentrate on things that matter.
