To tell you the truth, it is not Chicago, it i not in the 20´s,… It is just people in 2016, during the carnival, disguised as  gangsters.

Victory in the Middle Ages

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: «Victory.»

Imagine the battlements plenty of archers.

You can smell the fear all over the castle. The enemy is so close…

The king appears there up and starts speaching to the troops.

Victory or defeat are going to happen in a few moments.

Amoreiras, Lisboa

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: «Ornate.»

Three decades after its opening, Amoreiras Shopping Center won, definitely, a place as a Lisbon’s icon.

Placed in the center of the Portuguese capital, with a very bold architecture for its time, it early became a meeting point for the upper middle and upper classes, always demanding quality and attentive to the last fashion trends.

Today, it entered to the gallery of Lisbon traditions, without losing the aura of vanguard and exclusivity that was always around it. Even after two decades, Amoreiras Shopping Center remains the top spot for exclusive brands at the very heart of Lisbon.

Japo´s better than candies

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: «Treat.»

I don´t like candies. I don´t like Halloween either.

I read last week in a local newspaper that if spanish people celebrate Halloween is like if american people celebrate the sevillian «Feria in April».

So, if I have to choose, it is very easy: I prefer japanese delicatessen to candies and sweets.

An extra-ordinary iron

In response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge: «(Extra)ordinary.»

You´re at home. everything is familiar and you know everything. But suddenly you look at something that is unexpected. It looks like a dome or like a kind of arch. You can´t recognize what it is.

It´s siesta time. You are lying in sofa, listening to music, jazz music; Gerry Mulligan is playing saxo and everything is quite and peaceful. Paradise is not probably different.

Perhaps it is just a question of that marvelous wine you have just tasted.

You get up and try to discover what it is. It´s just an extra-ordinary iron.
