Searching for a good breakfast

Searching for a good breakfast. Or maybe a late dinner.

On my last trip to Finland ten days ago I had the opportunity to enjoy / suffer the so-called «midnight sun», which does not come to nightfall for several weeks, almost two months.

This phenomenon gave me the opportunity to get up early and go sightseeing in daylight hours that would be nocturnal in other parts of the planet.

And on one of those walks I went at five in the morning in a park located just behind the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art.

I would love to know if the sounds, the animal walks, … were diurnal or nocturnal. How does the midnight sun affect the animals?, Do they suffer from depressions for it like humans do?

And the squirrel I photographed, was she looking for breakfast or dinner?. Great dilemma, do not you think like me?

Regardless of all these speculations, having a park just for you, with the stillness of the ponds, the rocking of the leaves by the gentle wind… it was a beautiful experience.

And that’s what matters. Because traveling and traveling you don´t always have the opportunity to do something really different. Not in vain, I´m a boy from the north of Spain … in southern Europe. And we did not enjoy / suffer the midnight sun there.

In fact, although it was a beautiful experience, I will not miss it.

I can’t find my breakfast
