Galerie Roussard, Paris

Paris never disappoints you. Place des Vosges

Every time I go to Paris I approach the square of the Vosges.

For me it has all the charm of the Paris of yesterday , which has seen the Bourbons pass, the people in arms in the nearby Place de la Bastille, …
Sure there are people who think that the Place Vendome or the Arc de Triomphe are prettier, but for me, the Place des Vosges never disappoints.
Walking under the arches that envelop the square it is easy to feel the spirit of Victor Hugo looking behind a column.
There are good resturants at not a prohibitive price. Although for a Spaniard, prices of the drinks always become excessive…
Wonderful art galleries and young people playing the guitar or having a beer in the green area of the center of the square..
The Place des Vosges never disappoints.

Place Vendôme. The luxury of Paris lives there.

Vendome

There are two corners for me that are my favorite in Paris. They are two squares.
One of it is the place of the Vosges, of which I have already written in this blog and from my point of view,  it contains the medieval flavor of Paris, the three musketeers, Victor Hugo, that part of its History.
The other square is the Vendome, which means for me the luxury, the glamour of the French capital, with its jewelerys, its hotels of superlaunch, with huge lamps, red carpets, …
People  say that Paris always falls in love with you and will probably be true, but these two corners have something special.

Notre Dame de Paris, very close to heaven

Notre Dame de Paris is one of those temples in the world that, regardless of whether you are a believer in God or not, take you in and invite you to look inside yourself, to isolate yourself from the mundane noise.
If you are fortunate enough to coincide with some psalms or Gregorian chants, you are very close to heaven.
